When Clear Channel gobbled up 97.1 KISN-FM in the late 90s, it flipped the station from Hot AC to all-80s right around Bush-Gore election. After two years it had migrated back to its hot adult contemporary roots but with all-80s imaging and a playlist heavy on 1980s songs.
